Job description

We are seeking a dedicated and ambitious Maths Teacher to join a high-performing Mathematics department. The successful candidate will deliver engaging and challenging lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with opportunities for Key Stage 5 teaching depending on experience. Beginning September 2025.

Duties as a Maths Teacher:

• Deliver high-quality lessons that inspire and motivate students.

• Plan effectively and differentiate to meet the needs of all learners.

• Monitor progress and provide targeted feedback to ensure pupil success.

• Contribute to departmental planning, assessment, and intervention strategies.

• Participate fully in school life, including enrichment and extra-curricular activities.

Ideal Maths Teacher:

• Holds QTS and has experience teaching Mathematics at secondary level.

• Demonstrates excellent subject knowledge and a passion for Maths.

• Has strong classroom management and high expectations of student achievement and behaviour.

• Is committed to continuous professional development and reflective practice.

• Works well both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
