Job summary

The Education Network Birmingham is seeking a dedicated Maths Teacher for a good Birmingham secondary school to start September 2026 on a full-time, long-term supply basis.

You will teach KS3–KS4 GCSE Maths, plan engaging lessons, assess progress, and support students in achieving their potential in a supportive department.

Qualifications

  • Hold QTS or be an ECT.
  • Experience teaching Mathematics across KS3 and KS4.

The Role

An Ofsted-rated Good secondary school in Birmingham is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Maths Teacher to join its successful Mathematics department from September 2026 on a full-time, long-term supply basis.

The successful candidate will teach Mathematics across KS3 and KS4, delivering engaging and well-structured lessons that develop students' confidence in numeracy, algebra, geometry, statistics, reasoning, and problem-solving. You will support learners in preparing for GCSE Mathematics, helping them develop the knowledge, skills, and resilience required to achieve their full potential.

Working as part of a supportive Mathematics department, you will plan and deliver high-quality lessons, assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and create a positive and inclusive classroom environment. You will maintain high expectations for behaviour and achievement while encouraging students to develop a positive attitude towards mathematics.
