Job summary

The Education Network is seeking a motivated Maths Teacher for a Good Ofsted secondary school in Coventry, starting September 2026 on a full-time supply basis. You will teach Mathematics across KS3 and KS4, delivering engaging lessons and preparing students for GCSE Maths exams.

The Role

An Ofsted-rated Good secondary school in Coventry is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Maths Teacher to join its successful Mathematics department from September 2026 on a full-time supply basis.

The successful candidate will teach Mathematics across KS3 and KS4, delivering engaging, well-structured lessons that develop students' confidence in numeracy, algebra, geometry, statistics, reasoning, and problem-solving. You will inspire learners to develop a positive attitude towards mathematics while preparing them for success in their GCSE Mathematics examinations.

Working within a supportive Mathematics department, you will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality lessons, assessing student progress, providing constructive feedback, and creating an inclusive classroom environment where every student is encouraged to achieve their full potential. You will maintain high expectations for behaviour and achievement while promoting resilience, confidence, and independent learning.

The Candidate

The successful candidate will:

- Hold QTS or be an ECT

- Have experience teaching Mathematics across KS3 and KS4

- Be confident delivering the GCSE Maths curriculum

- Demonstrate excellent classroom management and organisational skills

- Be committed to supporting student progress and raising attainment

- Have a positive, engaging, and adaptable approach to teaching and learning
