Job Title: Maths Teacher
Location:Gateshead
Salary:£150 - £220 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date:Immediate
Contract Type:Daily Supply, Long-Term

Passionate about numbers and shaping young minds? If so,GSL Education are thrilled to offer an exciting opportunity for an experienced Maths Teacher to join a vibrant, dynamic school in Gateshead.

Responsibilities:

• Teach Maths to students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, ensuring high-quality lessons that engage and challenge learners.
• Plan and deliver lessons in line with the school’s curriculum and assessment frameworks.
• Support students’ individual learning needs, adapting lessons as necessary to maximise progress.
• Assess and track students' progress, providing regular feedback and setting goals for improvement.
• Maintain a positive and disciplined classroom environment with clear expectations.
• Collaborate with colleagues and attend staff meetings to contribute to the development of the department and school.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Proven experience teaching Maths to Key Stage 3 and 4 students.
• Strong subject knowledge and a passion for delivering high-quality education.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Experience working in a secondary school setting is desirable.
• Have an updated CV and an enhanced DBS registered to the update service (or be willing to apply for one).
