Teaching Personnel is working in partnership with a well-regarded, Ofsted-rated ‘Good’ secondary school in Dukinfield, Tameside, to recruit a full-time Maths Teacher starting in September. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate and dedicated Maths specialist to join a strong department in a supportive and high-achieving school.

Location: Dukinfield, Tameside
Start Date: September
Contract Type: Full-time, long-term
Pay: Paid in line with your teaching scale (MPS/UPS)

Role Responsibilities:

1. Delivering high-quality Maths lessons to KS3 and KS4 students
2. Planning and preparing lessons in accordance with the national curriculum
3. Monitoring student progress and implementing strategies for improvement
4. Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment
5. Participating in departmental meetings, CPD opportunities, and whole-school initiatives

Ideal Candidate Will:

1. Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
2. Have recent experience teaching Maths in a UK secondary school setting
3. Be confident in managing classroom behaviour and adapting lessons to meet student needs
4. Be passionate about Maths and committed to helping students reach their full potential
5. Hold or be willing to apply for an enhanced DBS certificate on the update service
