Are you a dedicated and inspiring Maths Teacher committed to helping students develop strong numeracy skills and a love for problem-solving?

GSL Education are looking for a motivated Maths Teacher to join a supportive school in Conisbrough, DN12. The successful candidate will deliver engaging lessons across Key Stages, encouraging pupils to think critically, build confidence, and achieve their best in Mathematics.

Responsibilities as a Maths Teacher:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Maths lessons that cater to varying abilities and learning styles.
  • Encourage active participation and provide differentiated support to ensure all students make progress.
  • Monitor and assess pupil progress, giving constructive feedback to support improvement.
  • Create a positive, inclusive, and well-managed learning environment.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance the Maths curriculum and wider school activities.

Requirements for the Maths Teacher role:

  • UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is mandatory.
  • Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics and the ability to teach up to GCSE level.
  • Excellent classroom management and organisational skills.
  • Passion for inspiring students and fostering a love for learning.
  • An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one.
  • A full, up-to-date CV with explanations for any gaps in employment in the last 10 years.
