Job summary

GSL Education South Yorkshire is seeking a Maths Teacher to deliver engaging lessons in Doncaster. The role requires QTS or equivalent and experience teaching secondary mathematics, with a focus on building pupil confidence and numeracy skills.

You will plan lessons aligned to the National Curriculum, differentiate for different abilities, assess progress, and work with colleagues and parents to support student development. DBS checks are required or willingness to apply.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent is essential.
• Experience teaching Mathematics within a secondary school setting.
• Strong subject knowledge and understanding of effective assessment practices.
• Ability to motivate pupils and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons.
• Excellent communication, classroom management, and organisational skills.
• Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply.
