Job summary

Vision for Education Ltd are seeking a dedicated Maths Teacher to join our networks of Bristol secondary schools. You will deliver engaging Maths lessons, support students to grow confidence and attainment, and work with colleagues to monitor progress.

Open to both experienced teachers and those gaining early classroom experience (ECT), with a 0-hour contract offering flexibility and potential for long-term or permanent roles within partner schools.

Qualifications

• QTS is required for the role.
• Experience teaching Maths in a secondary school.
• Ability to deliver engaging lessons and manage behaviour.

This is a fantastic opportunity to support students in developing their confidence and understanding of mathematics within a positive learning environment.

The role

As a Maths Teacher, you\'ll be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons that support students of different abilities. You\'ll create a positive classroom environment, encourage students to develop their mathematical skills and help them achieve their academic goals.

You\'ll work closely with colleagues to monitor progress, adapt lessons where needed and support students to build confidence in their learning.

This is a 0-hour contract, offering flexible supply work with the opportunity to secure a long-term or permanent position within one of our partner schools.

Requirements

To be considered for the role, you\'ll:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Have experience teaching Maths within a secondary school setting.
• Be confident delivering engaging lessons and managing classroom behaviour.
• Have a passion for helping students develop confidence in Maths.
• Be adaptable and able to work across different school environments.
• Hold, or be willing to apply for, an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service.
• Be able to provide suitable references.
