Youth College offers an alternative curriculum for Y11 students (15-16) accessing education at South Tyneside College. You will help develop and support up to 70 students preparing for their GCSE exams.
Teaching class sizes of up to 14 students across 5 groups, with support from a dedicated Attendance Welfare Officer and Youth College Manager. The team operates as a close-knit unit, providing both academic and pastoral support.
Experience with GCSE, Functional Skills, and FE provision is advantageous, but we welcome candidates new to teaching who have a passion for maths and inspiring others.
