Job summary

Reed is seeking a Maths Lecturer to provide cover at an outdoor educational establishment in Manchester. The role focuses on delivering high-quality maths teaching and creating an inclusive learning environment for Further Education students.

You will assess learner progress, maintain records, and provide timely feedback while upholding safeguarding procedures. Immediate start with exciting opportunities through Reed FE network.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mathematics or a related subject.
• Teaching qualification such as PGCE, Cert Ed, DTLLS or equivalent.
• Experience teaching Maths within Further Education, Secondary Education or Adult Learning.
• Ability to deliver engaging lessons to diverse learner groups.
• Excellent communication, organisational, and classroom management skills.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service.

As a Maths Lecturer, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality teaching and learning to Further Education students. You will create an inclusive and supportive learning environment that motivates learners to succeed while helping them develop essential mathematical knowledge and skills.

All candidates who register with Reed Further Education will have 2 years' referencing taken up and will be required to have a DBS check completed. All offers are conditional upon satisfactory background checks.
