Job summary

Henry Blue is seeking an experienced Maths Lecturer to join a well-established FE College on an initial 8-week temporary contract. You will deliver engaging Maths lessons to learners across multiple levels, focusing on GCSE Maths and Functional Skills while aligning with curriculum standards.

The role requires planning and delivering lessons, supporting learners to build confidence and progression, and completing marking and learner tracking.

Qualifications

• Previous experience teaching Maths within Further Education.
• Strong knowledge of GCSE Maths and Functional Skills.
• Enhanced DBS on Update Service preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging Maths lessons within an FE College.
• Teach GCSE Maths and Functional Skills to a range of levels.
• Plan and deliver lessons aligned with the college curriculum.

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Maths Lecturer to join a well-established Further Education College on an initial 8-week temporary contract.

This is a great opportunity for someone looking for a short-term FE teaching assignment, delivering Maths to learners across a range of levels.

The Role

• Deliver engaging Maths lessons within an FE College
• Teach predominantly GCSE Maths / Functional Skills
• Plan and deliver lessons in line with the college curriculum
• Support learners to improve confidence, attainment and progression
• Complete relevant marking, assessment and learner tracking
• Work closely with the wider Maths department

Requirements

• Previous experience teaching Maths within Further Education
• Relevant teaching qualification desirable
• Strong knowledge of GCSE Maths and/or Functional Skills
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service preferred
• Available to start at short notice and commit for the full 8 weeks
