Maths Graduate Teaching Assistant – Manchester
Are you a recent Maths Graduate looking to gain valuable school-based experience before applying for your teacher training? This is an excellent opportunity for a Mathematics Graduate to secure a Graduate Teaching Assistant placement for the full academic year, supporting students in a high achieving maths department.

*** £90 - £100 Per day
*** September 2025 until July 2026
*** Ofsted “Good” Secondary Academy, Manchester
*** Supporting the Maths Department across KS3 and KS4

The Role
As a Maths Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will be working closely with a dynamic mathematics department, helping students to develop their understanding of the maths curriculum. You will deliver targeted interventions, assist the class teacher and run booster sessions for students. This is a fantastic opportunity to help raise attainment levels and inspire a love for maths!

The Candidate
This role is suitable for a Maths Graduate with strong subject knowledge who is considering a career in teaching. You will need to be passionate about your subject and must possess excellent communication skills. A desire to work with young people and help them to develop their understanding of the maths curriculum is essential for this role. Previous experience working with young people is
desirable however not essential.
