Across 16 months you gain experience across placements, learn from experienced colleagues, and align with EDF's net-zero goals, safety culture, and research development teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or postgraduate degree in Maths, Physics, Chemistry, Radiological Protection, Hazards or related subject.
- Strong communication and problem‑solving skills and an interest in nuclear energy and technology.
- UK residency for the past three of the last five years for Security Vetting.
Responsibilities
- Develop technical and professional skills across placements applying mathematical techniques to real-world challenges in the nuclear industry.
- Use advanced modelling tools to support nuclear fuel performance analysis and safety case development.
- Contribute to projects that support nuclear safety, operational performance and innovation.
