Job summary

EDF (UK) is inviting applications for a Maths Graduate programme based in Gloucester. You will develop technical and professional skills over 16 months, rotating through placements and applying mathematical techniques to real-world challenges in the nuclear industry.

You’ll work on modelling and data analysis, with learning from experienced colleagues, and be assessed online on 10 November 2026. The programme includes a starting salary of £37,500 and a market-leading pension scheme.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or postgraduate degree in Maths, Physics, Chemistry, Radiological Protection, Hazards or a related subject.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Security Vetting – UK resident for at least three of the past five years.

Responsibilities

• Apply mathematical techniques to real-world challenges in the nuclear industry.
• Gain experience across technical placements within EDF's graduate programme.
• Contribute to projects supporting nuclear safety, operational performance and innovation.
