Job summary

Explore Learning in Newcastle is seeking a dedicated tutor to support children across the national curriculum, including 11+ and GCSE content. You will deliver tailored sessions via our Compass platform, build strong relationships with learners, and help them grow in confidence and skills.

The role is on-site at our Newcastle centre, part-time with a minimum of 6 hours per week across multiple weekdays. Salary scales by age, with progression opportunities and additional staff perks.

Qualifications

• Must be 16+ and have the right to work in the UK.
• GCSE Maths and English Language grade 6 or above, or equivalent (predicted grades accepted).
• Tutoring or coaching experience is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Delivering lessons that last using Compass for tailored sessions.
• Building meaningful relationships in a 1:6 learning environment.
• Driving academic progress by supporting curriculum, entrance exams, and GCSE prep.
