Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or recognized UK teaching credentials (PGCE / SCITT).
• Honours degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or closely related quantitative discipline.
• Proven track record (or clear potential during training) for delivering strong GCSE Mathematics outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Teach high-quality Mathematics across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (GCSE Higher and Foundation).
• Plan, resource, and execute lessons that sharpen numerical fluency, algebraic reasoning, and geometric analysis.
• Utilize data-driven tracking to target intervention strategies and stretch higher-attaining pupils.
• Prepare students for GCSE examinations and contribute to UKMT Maths Challenge mentoring.
• Maintain high standards of classroom engagement and promote an ambitious learning environment.
• Serve as a Form Tutor, contributing to pastoral care and wellbeing of your year group.
• Collaborate with departmental colleagues to refine schemes of work and digital learning platforms.
