Job summary

Connex Education in Swindon is seeking dedicated Maths Teachers to support secondary schools from September 2026. This role requires a passion for Mathematics and the ability to motivate students. With both short-term and long-term opportunities available, this position offers flexibility for experienced teachers and ECTs. Applicants with QTS are preferred, and a full UK driving license is desirable due to the location of some schools.

Maths Teacher (QTS)

Location: Swindon and surrounding areas

Salary: £150 – £300 per day, depending on the role | Weekly PAYE pay

Start Date: September 2026

About the Role

Do you have a passion for Mathematics and a desire to help students build confidence in their numerical and problem‑solving abilities? Connex Education is recruiting dedicated Maths Teachers to support secondary schools in Swindon and the surrounding areas from September 2026. We are working with a range of schools offering both short‑term and long‑term opportunities, making this an excellent option for experienced teachers and ECTs looking for flexibility and career development.

With schools located across both town and rural settings, applicants who can drive and have access to their own transport will be particularly well‑suited to these opportunities.

You’ll play an important role in helping students develop key mathematical skills, preparing them for examinations and future success while creating a positive and engaging learning experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach Maths across KS3 and KS4, delivering lessons that challenge and inspire learners.
  • Adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of students with varying abilities and learning styles.
