Teach Now is seeking a Mathematics Teacher for a school in Hertfordshire, taking pupils aged 11–18 through KS3 to A‑level. The post offers progression on the main pay range with a salary of £34,069 to £52,835 and term‑time hours from 8:30am to 3:30pm.

You will plan differentiated lessons, prepare students for GCSE and A‑level exams, and contribute to departmental planning while supporting diverse abilities and developing mathematical reasoning.

Salary: £34,069 to £52,835 - M1 to UPS3 (national teacher pay scales)

Salary will be determined based on experience and position on the Main Pay Range.

Hours of work: 8:30am to 3:30pm, Monday to Friday (term time only)

About the Role

Looking for a Mathematics Teacher role that takes you from early secondary learning through to A-level? In this Hertfordshire school, you will help pupils aged 11 to 18 develop mathematical reasoning, prepare for exams and tackle unfamiliar problems with confidence.

As a Mathematics Teacher, you will establish clear routines, support varied abilities and stretch confident learners across every key stage. You will contribute to departmental planning and see your pupils progress through to July 2027. If you enjoy making demanding mathematics accessible, we would love to hear from you.

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
• Experience teaching mathematics across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5
