Job summary

Study Group is seeking a Tutor at the Bath International Study Centre to support pathway programmes and help international students prepare for university life. The role covers module delivery, assessment, and the development of teaching materials within the centre's education strategy.

You will coordinate designated modules, contribute to the student learning experience, and work with the Student Experience Team to welcome and guide learners throughout induction, progression and registration

Qualifications

• Experience of teaching in UK higher or further education
• Ability to develop and update teaching material and use of a Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) and blended delivery
• Competence in teaching and administrative IT skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, e-mail)
• Knowledge of MATLAB and SPSS

Responsibilities

• Provide academic coordination for designated module(s) as module coordinator
• Contribute to the design, delivery and development of modules
• Prepare module examinations and other forms of assessment; mark and provide feedback
• Update and maintain the Virtual Learning Environment (VLE)
• Work with Student Experience Team and Registry and Operations Team in induction and registration programmes
• Engage in scholarly activity to ensure delivery of modules is current
