Job summary

St Helens College and Knowsley Community College is seeking a Lecturer in Maths to join the curriculum team. The post is permanent, full-time (36 hours per week) and carries a salary on the Qualified Lecturer Scale (£28,839 to £38,697 per annum) dependent on experience.

The successful candidate will deliver high-quality teaching, inspire learners and help them achieve outstanding outcomes across a range of Maths programmes, working with the Head and Deputy Head of School to maintain high

Qualifications

• Have experience of teaching and motivating Further Education students.
• Hold a relevant degree (a higher degree is desirable).
• Possess a recognised teaching qualification, or be willing to achieve one within an agreed timeframe after appointment.
• Hold GCSE English and Maths at Grade C/4 or above (or equivalent).
• Demonstrate excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills.
• Have a genuine passion for supporting learners to achieve their goals.
