Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
• Degree or equivalent in Mathematics or a related subject.
• Proven leadership experience in improving student outcomes in Mathematics.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for Mathematics across the academy.
• Lead development and implementation of an ambitious Mathematics curriculum.
• Drive improvements in teaching, learning and assessment within the department.
• Coach and develop colleagues to build leadership capacity within the team.
• Use data to monitor performance and inform sustained improvement.
• Contribute to whole-school improvement and strategic initiatives.
• Promote inclusive culture and high expectations for all students.
