Job summary

Oasis Academy MediaCityUK seeks an Associate Assistant Principal (Mathematics) to provide strategic leadership for Mathematics, drive an ambitious curriculum, and raise teaching and assessment standards across the academy.

You will coach colleagues, use data to monitor progress and contribute to whole-school improvement within the Oasis Community Learning Trust. This is a senior leadership role in a growing, forward-looking academy.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Degree or equivalent qualification in Mathematics or a related subject.
• Excellent subject knowledge and a passion for mathematics education.
• Proven track record of successful teaching and leadership within Mathematics.
• Experience of improving student outcomes and raising standards.
• Strong understanding of curriculum design, assessment and teaching and learning.
• Experience of coaching, mentoring and developing colleagues.
• Ability to analyse and use performance data to drive improvement.
• Excellent communication, organisational and leadership skills.
