Job summary

ECM Selection (Holdings) Limited in London is seeking a Mathematical Software Engineer to develop highly mathematical code in Java, implementing algorithms for modelling and optimisation of complex industrial processes and logistics.

You will work with a strong maths background and solid software engineering practices, with exposure to Java (and optionally C++/C#), version control, and debugging large codebases, and you must be eligible to live and work in the UK.

Qualifications

• Excellent maths background with a top-tier STEM degree (1st or 2:1).
• Strong coding skills in Java; OO languages such as C++ or C# are valuable.
• Experience with software engineering best practices and large codebases.
