Job summary

Nether Stowe School is seeking a Teacher of Mathematics to join a dedicated Mathematics Department. You will deliver engaging maths lessons for KS3/4, foster an inclusive environment, and contribute to curriculum development.

You will monitor progress and provide timely feedback while supporting a positive school culture. We are looking for a QTS holder with strong subject knowledge and a passion for maths, committed to professional growth and safeguarding.

Qualifications

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Mathematics.
• Demonstrates excellent classroom practice and high expectations for student achievement and behaviour.
• Committed to continuous professional development.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and challenging Mathematics lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students can succeed.
• Use a range of teaching strategies to support and stretch learners of all abilities.
• Monitor, assess, and track student progress, providing timely feedback and intervention where required.
• Contribute to the ongoing development of the Mathematics curriculum and departmental initiatives.
• Play an active role in the wider life of the school.
