Job summary

East Kent Hospitals University NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting a Clinical Skills Facilitator to join the Maternity Education Team across multiple clinical sites. The role focuses on supporting midwives in clinical practice and development during their preceptorship year, coordinating training days and emergencies training, and assisting staff through professional development programmes.

Responsibilities

• Support midwives in clinical practice, especially those on preceptorship programmes, to develop and maintain clinical skills and competencies.
• Coordinate with preceptorship lead midwife and practice education midwives to review and plan training days and obstetric emergencies training.
• Support individual midwives through programmes developed with practice education fellows to build a competent workforce.
