Job summary

Qualifications

• Registered Midwife with current NMC registration.
• Mentorship / SLIP / PSPA experience.
• Evidence of continuing professional development.

Responsibilities

• Lead in identifying maternity education and practice development needs.
• Function as a practicing professional and participate in direct patient care.
• Ensure preceptors/ mentors are trained and developed.
• Develop protocols and guidelines for midwifery practice.
• Contribute to clinical practice development and research in line with trust strategy.
• Provide induction for new starters in line with Trust values.
