Job summary

Gravesend Vets4Pets is seeking an enthusiastic Veterinary Surgeon for a 1-year FTC maternity cover starting around August. The role is full-time, 37.5 hours per week, with 1 in 3 Saturdays, at a modern practice in Gravesend, Kent equipped with digital X-ray, in-house lab, ultrasound and more.

You will join a team of 3 Vets, 6 RVNs, 2 SVNs, a Practice Manager and 5 Receptionists, with leadership from Paul Gunning.

Qualifications

• Confident and motivated Veterinary Surgeon
• Comfortable with sole charge at points during week/weekend
• Excellent communication with clients
• Ability to handle both surgical and medical cases

Responsibilities

• Perform surgical and medical cases
• Occasional sole charge responsibilities
• Work within a team of Vets, RVNs, SVNs and support staff
• Maintain strong client relationships
