Elix Sourcing Solutions near Exeter is seeking a Materials & Testing Engineer to lead hands-on laboratory testing, manage customer testing programs, and drive technical investigations of advanced composite materials.

You will be degree-qualified in materials, aerospace or mechanical engineering with experience in materials testing, joining a small, specialist team at a state‑of‑the‑art facility offering training, progression and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Degree-qualified in a relevant subject with industrial composites/adhesives experience.
• Experience in laboratory testing with knowledge of material testing standards.
• Strong problem-solving, project management, and ability to work in the office full time.

Responsibilities

Due to continued growth, my client is looking for a Materials & Testing Engineer to join their small, specialist team working out of a state-of-the-art facility near Exeter. The successful applicant will become a key problem solver within the business, leading technical investigations and performing sophisticated destructive, mechanical, and thermal testing on advanced composite materials.
