Job summary

Elix Sourcing Solutions near Exeter is seeking a Materials & Testing Engineer to join a specialist team at a state-of-the-art facility. The role combines hands-on laboratory testing with project management, leading testing programs and delivering results on time and within budget.

You will be a degree-qualified engineer with experience in composites/adhesives, driving technical investigations while acting as a technical lead for internal and external customers.

• Degree-qualified in a relevant subject with industrial composites/adhesives experience.
• Practical laboratory experience with material testing standards.
• Strong problem-solving and project management skills; able to work in the office full time.

Due to continued growth, my client is looking for a Materials & Testing Engineer to join their small, specialist team working out of a state-of-the-art facility near Exeter. The successful applicant will become a key problem solver within the business, leading technical investigations and performing sophisticated destructive, mechanical, and thermal testing on advanced composite materials.

The Role
