CTS and our range of independent UKAS accredited laboratories provide on-site testing and laboratory services to the construction, quarry products and civil engineering industries across the whole of the UK.

Our purpose-built laboratories are fully equipped to test the mechanical, physical and chemical properties of soils, aggregates, concrete and bituminous materials as well as other construction materials and products.

Our highly-trained technicians and engineers either visit sites and take representative samples for subsequent laboratory testing, or conduct in-situ field tests.

Requirements:

• Education:Educated to GCSE level or above in numeracy and literacy.
• Technical Skills:IT literate with good record-keeping skills.
• Experience:Construction laboratory testing experience is a plus but not required.
• Driving:Must have a full UK driving license.

Working Hours:

• Standard:40 hours per week, Monday - Friday.
• Flexibility:Longer days with travel, occasional stay aways andnight work when necessary with optional weekend work.

Responsibilities:

• Operations:Ensure accurate and consistent output of testing data.
• Compliance:Produce test results following documented procedures, standards, and UKAS requirements.
• Safety:Maintain safe, clean, and tidy working environments in laboratories and on-site.
• Team Integration:Blend seamlessly into the team and uphold strong harmony and morale.

Daily Duties:

• Work safely following the Company Health & Safety Policy.
• Complete allocated tasks as directed by senior personnel.
• Maintain a clean and tidy work environment and equipment.
• Carry out any other relevant tasks as directed by senior staff.

Main Tasks:

• Perform daily work tasks set by senior personnel.
• Maintain a clean and organised workspace.
• Assist with any other relevant tasks as needed.
