Qualifications

• Degree or higher in metallurgy, materials science or a related physical science.
• Chartership with a relevant professional body.
• Experience delivering experimental work in a laboratory.
• Knowledge of metallurgy and characterisation techniques.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to obtain/hold UK security clearance.

Responsabilités

• Act as a task engineer on complex and multidisciplinary projects.
• Contribute to design and implementation of experimental programmes.
• Analyze and interpret experimental data and present results to clients.
• Produce high-quality technical reports for diverse stakeholders.
• Engage with clients and develop bids and proposals.
• Deliver projects in line with cost, schedule, and quality goals.
