Job summary

Husqvarna Group in the United Kingdom is seeking a Materials Scheduler to ensure the right materials arrive on time to meet production needs. You will maintain accurate schedules, monitor stock, and collaborate with internal teams and suppliers to keep operations running smoothly.

In this role you will identify shortages, communicate risks early, and work with Sourcing, Production and Logistics to resolve issues, supporting on-time delivery and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in production planning, scheduling, materials planning or supply chain planning in manufacturing.
• Strong organisational skills with ability to manage competing deadlines.
• Proficient in ERP/MRP systems and master data management.
• Clear communicator and collaborative problem-solver across teams and suppliers.
• Proactive with good judgment and adaptability to changing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Create, maintain and communicate material schedules to support production plans and customer demand.
• Monitor material availability, stock levels and supplier delivery dates; identify shortages and risks early.
• Work with Sourcing, Production, Logistics and suppliers to resolve supply issues and protect production continuity.
• Expedite, reschedule or amend orders as priorities change and keep stakeholders informed.
• Maintain accurate data and system records; track performance and support continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and implement process improvements for efficiency and cost reduction.
• Ensure master data updates and process changes align with business goals.
• Raise and support Engineering Change projects and new product introductions with proper resources.
• Support obsolescence projects with planning and cross-functional coordination.
