Manpower in the United Kingdom is seeking a Material, Planning and Logistics Assistant to support production planning, customer orders and logistics. You will coordinate schedules, monitor progress, and communicate updates to customers and internal teams.

The role requires strong organisation, excellent communication, and proficiency with Excel. Office-based, Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:00pm, with a GBP30k+ salary depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in planning, logistics or order processing in an administrative role.
• Experience liaising with customers and coordinating delivery requirements.
• Understanding of production planning, stock availability and delivery priorities.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage changing deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Good Excel skills with formulas, filtering and reporting.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to analyse information and escalate issues when needed.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate customer orders, production schedules and deliveries.
• Maintain accurate data in Sage/Live Orders and other systems.
• Monitor production progress and adjust priorities as needed.
• Provide customers with updates on order status and delivery schedules.
• Coordinate planned collections and deliveries with warehouse/transport teams.
• Produce daily production and delivery reports highlighting variances.
• Support MP&L Manager and cover agreed responsibilities when required.
