Qualifications

• Experience in materials planning or procurement.
• Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems and inventory control.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with engineering, production and logistics.

Responsibilities

• Determining required materials and generating purchase orders.
• Analyzing MRP data to keep material procurement within cost constraints.
• Scheduling and overseeing material supply and delivery, in coordination with Stores.
• Managing schedule changes and cancellations as directed by Planning Resource.
• Reviewing material inventory and ordering quantities based on business needs.
• Ensuring materials are delivered on time.
• Monitoring costs of material purchases and maintaining supplier records.
• Updating daily production meetings with accurate material shortage information.
• Proactively updating and maintaining supplier contact details and cost records.
