Job summary

Ontic Engineering & Manufacturing Limited in Bishops Cleeve is recruiting a Material Planner for a six-month contract to support material planning and inventory control within a busy aerospace manufacturing site.

You will work with Supply Chain, Production and Programme teams to ensure on-time delivery, manage shortages and optimise stock levels, while applying ERP/MRP systems where applicable.

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing planning/material role is preferred.
• ERP/MRP systems experience desirable, not essential.
• Strong communication with internal and external stakeholders.
• Able to work autonomously with influencing skills.

Responsibilities

• Support material management to align with plans and schedules.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain, Programmes and Production to ensure on-time delivery.
• Identify shortages and drive corrective actions across the supply chain.
