Job summary

Artifex Elmdon is seeking a Materials Planner for a 6 months fixed-term contract in the United Kingdom. You will monitor material requirements, manage supplier schedules and maintain ERP/MRP data to support uninterrupted production and on-time customer delivery.

You will partner with suppliers, production planning, engineering and purchasing to drive lean, cut costs and implement changes while ensuring accurate reporting of receipts and non-conforming materials.

Qualifications

• Experience in production planning or materials planning in manufacturing.
• Comfortable working with ERP and MRP systems.
• Analytical, organised with data-driven decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Monitor material requirements against production schedules and demand.
• Maintain accurate MRP schedules and manage supplier changes.
• Oversee supplier EDI/ASN, communicate demand fluctuations.
• Support lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
