Job summary

Mondelēz International in the UK is seeking a materials planning and logistics professional to manage outbound transport to internal and external customers and oversee orders for bulk, raw, and packaging materials for the plant. You will work with production, supply planning, procurement, and logistics teams to ensure uninterrupted material supply while following all policies and governance.

You will beresponsible for managing and executing all outbound transport to internal and external customers, along with orders for bulk, raw and packaging materials for the plant. Through this you will providean uninterrupted supply of materials for the manufacturing process while preventing waste &following all policies and procedures of the company.

How you will contribute

You will:

• Work effectively with internal (production & supply planning teams,procurement, plant warehouse & logistics teams, plant Business Development and othermulti-functional resources) & external stakeholders (suppliers, transportation, vendors etc.) toensure consistent and reliable supply of materials for production use in accordance with ourstandards, procedures and protocols. Proactively and timely report any production orVendor/shipping/carrier issues, and enlist supplier, transporter, planning teams to pre-empt anybusiness impact and/or accommodate changes production and/or delivery schedules asappropriate.

• Execute and continuously improve material requirement planning systems and processes. Defining & maintainingboundaries and parameters for material call-offs and transport planning. Raw & packing materials and finishproduct supply chain set up for new products in collaboration with Business Development. Measure vendor conformance to schedule, building strong relationships with key partners.Build self and other KeyUser’s capability on SAP planning systems; Manage inventory for materialsas per KPI targets, plant Daily Direction Setting participation and alignment for operational excellence, support central planningprocesses & dashboard completion, adhering to manufacturing compliance and governance standards.

• Adopt IL6S-Integrated Lean 6 sigma ways of working and standard work processes and own one or morePillar systems/ processes at the site/ area level. Actively participate in SN-Supply Network pillar activities andlead systems and projects to driveSupply Chain Loss Analysis and elimination; work on Supply Networkcapabilities to drive value and loss elimination.

• Relevant work experience in material planning, demand planning, inventory management &handling, purchasing, and/or forecasting,

• Computer proficiency (MS Office to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint) & experience in ERP (SAP)systems

• Excellent communication skills (Verbal and Written), analytical & problem-solving skills, strongcollaboration and relationship management skills.
