Job summary

Allied Vehicles is seeking a motivated Materials Handler for our Pre-Production team. In this role you will move, track and prepare parts and materials to keep our manufacturing lines running smoothly, with a focus on accuracy and speed in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Hours are Monday–Wednesday 7am–6pm and Thursday 7am–5:30pm, totaling four days per week. You’ll need Stores/Warehouse experience, a Counterbalance Forklift License, and solid computer skills to work with our systems.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working in a Stores or Warehouse environment.
• Counterbalance Forklift License.
• Computer literacy skills, with an understanding of different Microsoft systems.

• Receive, check and process incoming parts and materials.
• Pick and prepare build kits in line with production schedules.
• Deliver kits and materials to workstations and operators.
• Issue parts accurately to work orders and internal customers.

The Opportunity:

We are looking for a motivated and organised Materials Handler to join our Pre-Production department. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with warehouse, stores or manufacturing experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.

As a Materials Handler, you'll be responsible for the movement, tracking, and availability of parts and materials throughout the pre-production process, helping to ensure our manufacturing operations run efficiently and effectively.

Hours of work are Monday – Wednesday, 7am – 6pm and Thursday 7am – 5.30pm, working just 4 days per week! The salary is £13.45 per hour + bonus.

About You:

To succeed in this role, you’ll ideally have:

• Previous experience working in a Stores or Warehouse environment.
