Job summary

Origin UK Operations and Origin Amenity in Immingham is seeking a Materials Coordinator to ensure timely availability and movement of raw materials, packaging and production consumables to support the production plan.

You will work with Planning Lead, Stock Controller, Production, Purchasing and Logistics to coordinate material requirements, monitor shortages and maintain efficient material flow across the manufacturing process.

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Experience in planning, purchasing, logistics or materials coordination.
• Good computer literacy.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the timely movement of materials to production areas.
• Respond to changes in production priorities.
• Assist with managing material substitutions where approved.
• Use stock reports to determine material availability and resolve shortages.
• Update ERP/MRP systems with material information and maintain planning spreadsheets.
• Produce shortage reports for daily production meetings.
• Support planning administration and documentation.
