Paneltex Ltd in Hull is seeking a motivated Warehouse Materials Controller to join the materials team. The role involves picking, replenishing, and delivering materials to production areas using a WMS scanning system, ensuring on-time, in-full supply to manufacturing operations.

The ideal candidate will hold a Counterbalance FLT licence and a Full UK Driving Licence, be organised, reliable and able to work 40 hours per week from Monday to Friday with potential overtime.

Responsabilidades

• Pick materials accurately using a WMS scanning system from multiple warehouse locations.
• Replenish stock and maintain appropriate stock levels.
• Deliver materials to production areas and other locations across the site.
• Unpack and distribute materials safely and efficiently.
• Support effective stock management and accurate inventory control.
• Maintain relevant warehouse and stock documentation.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping across the warehouse and work areas.
• Follow Health & Safety procedures and safe working practices.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives within the materials management process.
• Ensure materials are delivered to the correct location on time and in full.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues across the warehouse and production teams.

Location: Paneltex Ltd, Somerden Road, Hull, HU9 5PE
Salary: From £13.00 per hour DOE
Hours: 40 per week. Monday to Thursday 08:00 to 17:00 and Friday 08:00 to14:00

About the Role

Paneltex is looking for a motivated and reliable Warehouse Materials Operative to join our busy warehouse and materials team.

The successful candidate will play an important role in ensuring materials are picked, managed and delivered to our production areas on time and in full. Working as part of a team, you will use our WMS scanning system to pick stock from multiple locations, replenish materials and deliver items to production and other areas across the site.

This is a hands‑on role suited to someone who takes pride in maintaining high standards, works well as part of a team and can organise their workload effectively in a busy environment.

Flexibility to work additional hours and overtime when required will be expected.

About You

We are looking for someone who is organised, dependable and has a positive approach to their work. You will be comfortable working in a busy warehouse environment and able to prioritise tasks to meet deadlines.

Ideally, you will have:

• Previous experience working with a WMS system.
• Experience of line feeding within a manufacturing or production environment.
• An understanding of warehouse storage solutions and materials handling processes.
• Good verbal, written, telephone and electronic communication skills.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with email and standard computer packages.
• The ability to understand and follow instructions accurately.
• Good organisational and time-management skills.
• A strong understanding of Health & Safety requirements.
• A positive work ethic and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Excellent timekeeping and attendance.
• A flexible approach to working additional hours when required.
• The physical capability to carry out manual handling and lifting duties safely.
• A willingness to learn about our products, processes and systems.
