Job summary

Renishaw in the United Kingdom is seeking a materials control and logistics professional to support manufacturing operations. You will maintain systems, monitor stock, and coordinate part supply across assembly cells, applying strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

The role requires effective communication across levels, experience with MS Office and familiarity with MRP/ERP systems. A hybrid working pattern is offered with benefits and a competitive pension.

Qualifications

• Excellent level of computer literacy with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• The ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
• An analytical approach and meticulous attention to detail.
• An understanding of resource management systems including MRP or ERP.

Responsibilities

• Maintain manufacturing systems including locations management, routine stock counting, transit booking, work in progress monitoring and job booking.
• Provide material control support for the assembly management team to ensure departmental plans are met.
• Progress parts supply, shortages on jobs, and kitting jobs to assembly cells.
• Perform order interrogation to identify late projections and root causes in material supply.
• Provide logistical support for movement of goods around manufacturing sites.
