Job summary

Singer Vehicle Design in Daventry is seeking an experienced Material Controller to ensure timely supply of parts for the build schedule. You will manage stock levels, monitor demand against planning targets, and coordinate delivery from suppliers to the workshop.

You will collaborate with planning, manufacturing, and suppliers to forecast material needs, implement standardised processes, and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience in supply chain management or a specialist area.
• Understanding of manufacturing and automotive processes.
• Experience with MRP or similar systems.
• Attention to detail and reliable punctuality.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and control material and component supply to meet build plans.
• Manage stock levels and monitor volume against targets.
• Forecast, plan, and coordinate materials with suppliers and workshops.
• Create forecasts and build good supplier relationships.
• Support supplier meetings and negotiations for material demand.
