We're Hiring – Buyer/ Procurement (Electrical) | Ashford, Kent

G W & E Wright Ltd is on the lookout for a Buyer to join our established and growing team based in Ashford, Kent.

If you're experienced in procurement within the electrical industry, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and love the challenge of managing multiple projects while delivering real commercial value – we want to hear from you!

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

• Processing day-to-day material orders using our preferred electrical suppliers
• Coordinating with Electricians, Supervisors, and Contracts Managers
• Managing 2nd fix kits and sequencing call-offs
• Negotiating pricing and ensuring best value from suppliers
• Recommending improvements and cost-saving measures
• Managing stock levels and conducting regular stock takes
• Overseeing invoice matching and returns

What You’ll Need to Succeed:

• Proven experience in electrical buying, including accessories, lighting, and distribution
• Strong numeracy and negotiation skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office – especially Excel
• Highly organised, with strong attention to detail and a methodical approach
• Able to stay calm under pressure and solve problems independently

Job Type: Full-time
