We're Hiring – Buyer/Procurement (Electrical) | Ashford, Kent

G W & E Wright Ltd is looking for a Buyer to join our established and growing team based in Ashford, Kent.

If you have experience in procurement within the electrical industry, enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, and are skilled at managing multiple projects while delivering value, we want to hear from you!

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

• Processing daily material orders with electrical suppliers
• Coordinating with Electricians, Supervisors, and Contracts Managers
• Managing 2nd fix kits and sequencing call-offs
• Negotiating pricing for best value
• Recommending improvements and cost-saving measures
• Managing stock levels and conducting stock takes
• Overseeing invoice matching and returns

What You’ll Need to Succeed:

• Experience in electrical buying, including accessories, lighting, and distribution
• Strong negotiation and numeracy skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Highly organized with attention to detail
• Calm under pressure and problem-solving skills
