Job summary

British Airways is hiring a Material Supplier to handle, store, and deliver aircraft tools and materials across its global network. You will check quality, receipt, issue and dispatch while operating forklifts and maintaining stock accuracy.

This hands-on role requires safety discipline, attention to detail, and good customer focus, with training provided and opportunities to progress within the BA fleet and engineering network.

Qualifications

• Level 2 Qualifications (Maths and English).
• Ability to qualify for an Airside Pass.
• Ability to obtain Counterbalance forklift licence and other truck licences.
• Able to meet BA medical requirements for licences/permits.

Responsibilities

• Transact aircraft materials and tools following procedures.
• Deliver, move and distribute materials/tools to meet operation needs.
• Maintain storekeeping practices and high quality standards.
• Comply with health & safety, environment and quality laws.
• Maintain stock accuracy via cyclic audits.
• Meet mandatory training requirements.
• Provide expertise on Dangerous Goods & Road Transport rules (where relevant).
• Receive materials into BA Engineering under MIA stamp allowances when required.
• Work safely and protect yourself and others.
