Job summary

Line Up Aviation is seeking a Material Support Specialist for a 12-month contract based at Brize Norton, onsite. You will report to the Material Demand Coordinator and ensure material demands are met to support the Maintenance/Flying Programme.

Responsibilities include overseeing UK A400M material issues, assisting the Atlas team on AOG, escalating at-risk items, and coordinating procurement with daily briefings and planning.

Qualifications

• Experience in a material support/supply chain role.
• Proficiency in material management and information systems (SAP SP1, SAP HANA, Airnav, Microsoft Excel, etc.).
• Knowledge of EASA Part 145 regulations is desirable.
• Reporting experience within the supply chain.

Responsibilities

• Ensure operational focus and oversight of all material aspects related to maintenance/technical issues on the UK customer's A400M fleet worldwide.
• Contribute expert advice and assistance to the Atlas team during management and recovery of AOG aircraft, including participation in telephone conference calls.
• Provide escalation for AOG & Work Stop items, including ADFs or depth maintenance parts at risk.
• Liaise with the customer on all MTP material procurement required and, if parts do not satisfy an RDD, escalates to the next level.
• Follow up and chase items with unsatisfactory delivery estimates, missing or incorrect paperwork, incomplete REQs, and escalating unresolved issues.
• Attend daily operational briefing and planning meetings.

Position Overview

Our client has an opportunity for a Material Support Specialist on a 12-month contract. You will report directly to the Material Demand Coordinator and ensure the team meets its commitments regarding material demands needed to achieve the Maintenance/Flying Programme.

Key Details

• Location: Brize Norton, 100% onsite
• Hours: 35 per week
• Clearance: BPSS required before starting. Full SC to follow
• Hourly Rate: £30 per hour via Umbrella, inside IR35
