Job summary

Baker Hughes is recruiting a Manufacturing Senior Specialist - Material Plan & Execution for the Nailsea Controls Centre of Excellence (COE) in England. You will own material and production planning for the Production Control Line, ensuring timely releases and flagging risks to stakeholders.

You will collaborate cross-functionally to meet project milestones and resolve delays. You will lead a small team, drive adherence to schedules, and optimize stock, planning for launches while maintaining

Qualifications

• Experience in supply chain planning or sourcing.
• Experience leading teams and driving performance.
• Working knowledge of ERP systems, preferably Oracle.
• Strong influencing, leadership, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical and critical thinking abilities under pressure.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop material planning KPIs and manage backlog slot planning with material and capacity constraints.
• Lead launch readiness processes addressing material risks, equipment and skills availability for shop orders.
• Support and develop a team of material planners and Production Controllers.
• Optimize material plans by identifying supply risks and implementing mitigations.
• Manage launches of new products, qualifications and setups; solve material issues cross-functionally.
