Responsibilities

• Pull material from internal software systems and complete GMP paperwork.
• Pick and pack client orders while ensuring compliance with EHS standards.
• Support inventory management and maintain accurate job-related documentation.

Job description

• Pulling material from internal software systems with accuracy
• Picking and packing client orders
• Completing GMP paperwork with accuracy and in a timely manner
• Receiving deliveries of biological samples into required storage units and recording them on relevant software systems
• Reconcile and maintain inventory against client documentation and internal software
• Completing disposal of material as required
• Follow Standard Operating Procedures
• Follow requirements for Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) compliance
• Support and maintain compliance with all regulatory agencies, including but not limited to; MHRA (GMP), HTA, HFEA, and ISO 9001-2008 accreditation
• Under supervision, ensure all job-related / GMP paperwork is accurate, error-free, and completed in real-time as per SOPs
• Exhibit appropriate behaviour, language, and appearance at all times on the job or at company events
• Perform client-specific tasks as required, including responding to client emails
• This position functions in a repository environment, which may include working with dry ice, liquid nitrogen cryogenics, hazardous and infectious agents, as well as marked changes in temperature

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

• GCSE level or equivalent
• IT literate – preferably Microsoft Office
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to read, interpret, and follow SOPs
• Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions, percentages, area, and volume
• Builds good working relationships with others
• Able to work under pressure and support others within the team
• Experience working in a GMP (GxP) environment (desirable)
• Frequently required to type, sit, stand, walk, lift/carry up to 25kg
