Job summary

Caterpillar is hiring a Material Handler for the Aberdeen Service Centre. You will manage movement, storage and distribution of materials, ensuring accuracy and safe handling in a busy facility.

Key duties include receiving goods, stock verification, picking and packing, and supporting stock counts. Strong teamwork, basic computer skills and safety focus are important; lifting could be required. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Aberdeen, Scotland.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, manufacturing, or material handling environment.
• Good attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Basic computer skills and experience using inventory systems.

Responsibilities

• Receive and process all incoming goods, rental returns, and customer-owned equipment.
• Ensure inventory control, stock verification and storage management.
• Issue spares, consumables, PPE and equipment to support workshop activities.
• Pick, pack and dispatch sales orders.
• Maintain asset traceability, serial number records and stock accuracy.
• Support annual stock counts, audits and compliance activities.
• Coordinate with Customer Services, Supply Chain and Workshop teams to meet operational requirements.
• Promote and support QSHE standards and safety initiatives.
