Job summary

Cavendish Nuclear is seeking a Material Coordinator at our Bridgwater, Somerset site to support the Hinkley Point C project. You will link engineering, warehouse, logistics and construction teams to manage material flow on site, with travel to nearby locations.

The role emphasizes safety, accuracy and efficiency in materials handling. You will coordinate requests, manage inventory records, and report on KPI data while working 37 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse operations or material management within a large-scale project.
• Strong administration and record-keeping abilities.
• Ability to coordinate activities across multiple stakeholders and teams.
• Understanding of stock management and material control processes.
• Proficiency with Excel for data management and reporting.
• Commitment to health, safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating material requests and ensuring construction teams receive materials when required.
• Supporting warehouse inventory management and maintaining accurate material records throughout the project lifecycle.
• Collaborating with engineering, planning, logistics and construction teams to ensure efficient movement and storage of materials.
• Recording and reporting key performance data to identify opportunities for process improvements and operational efficiency.
• Promoting high standards of health, safety, environmental compliance and quality across all material management activities.
